About Us

Welcome.....

Come take a seat an learn a little about our life........

Hello, I am Debra...... A Wife,  a Mother and a Christian.... I am blessed enough to be married to my best friend, Kelly.  We have been married since 2002 and have adopted 3 beautiful blessings (kids) through the Foster Care system while living in Upstate NY.

The Croton Dam
Now we are a party of 5! Hubby and I met later in life and knew we wanted a family so we looked towards the Foster System in our area. I believe we were lead by God to go this route, moving forward in my faith and He was good to us. Was this the easy way, oh no! Not by any means but we both feel that this is what we were meant to do.

Now after opening our home to Foster Care in 2012 we have adopted 3 kids..... 2 boys (brothers) were adopted in Oct 2015 and 1 girl that was adopted in Sept of 2015. We closed our home in April of 2016, now we are working on making our life with these 3 kids that have overcome some crazy obstacles in their lives. We have to take one day at a time, helping each other grow and learn.

Meet Jeremiah........

Meet Elijah.......

Meet Kayla.......

These kids are strong, courageous and beautiful! They have seen more of the down side of life then anyone should have to see in their lifetime and we are just hoping we can change the rest of their lives and help them heal and grow.

We also have opened our home to 3 rescued pups.

Willow.........
Our 13 year old Mutt (she is a mix of Rat Terrier
and Chihuahua)

Acuna.......
She is out 8 year old Mutt (mix of Rat Terrier
and Chines Crested)

Our most recent rescue (7/2017).......

We are living our lives in a smaller home but so blessed to be able to have our own place, I saw a saying a bit ago and it rings true.....

~Love grows best in little houses just like this~

I love that and it sure gives you a different perspective on living in a smaller home.

Well that is a little about our family, thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have a blessed day......
